design for stage, screen, and street.
performance for all.

David Forsee (he/they) is an artist, designer, and director creating and performing multimedia theatre, projection mapping interventions, and new media work.
They’ve been fortunate enough to work with talented folx on Broadway, Off-Broadway, internationally, digital spaces, and their local street corner.

Their passion lies in making media and performances that playfully interrogate systems of oppression using the same new media technologies those systems often weaponize. They operate by radical empathy, open-source creation, and hacking culture. They make for the screen, stage, and street.

They’re also currently in debt because of a degree from the BFA InterArts Performance program at the University of Michigan and teaching the next-generation of storytellers in Brooklyn at the Youth Design Center.
